Terms of Service
Last updated 22 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and DotYello (“DotYello”, “we”, “us”) about your use of Sealer, including our website, web app and mobile apps (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
- Give accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised use.
- One account is for one person. Don't share your sign-in with others.
2. The Service
Sealer helps you track prospects, tasks and conversations. We are in an early-access period: features may change, and the Service may be interrupted for maintenance or other reasons. We work to keep it available but don't promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
3. Fees
The Service is currently free. We may introduce paid plans in future. If we do, we will give you notice and you will be able to choose whether to continue, and we will not charge you without your agreement.
4. Your data
- You own it. You keep all rights in the information you put into the Service (“Your Data”).
- Permission to run the Service. You give us permission to host, store, back up, process and display Your Data only as needed to provide and secure the Service for you.
- Your responsibility. You promise that you have the right to add Your Data, including personal information about other people, and that you have any consents needed under privacy and anti-spam laws (such as PIPEDA and CASL). Sealer does not send messages to your prospects for you. You are responsible for any messages you send.
- Export and deletion. You can export Your Data and delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deleting your account permanently removes Your Data.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe the rights of others, including by sending spam or unlawful marketing;
- upload malware, or try to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' data;
- scrape or bulk-copy the Service, or reverse engineer it except as the law allows;
- resell or provide the Service to others without our written permission;
- use the Service to store content that is unlawful, defamatory or that you have no right to hold.
We may suspend or limit access if we reasonably believe you've broken these terms or put the Service or others at risk.
6. Our rights
The Service, including its software, design, name and logo, belongs to DotYello and our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service in line with these terms. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
7. Ending these terms
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering the Service, in which case we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to export Your Data where we can.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the Service will meet your needs, or that data will never be lost. Please export your data regularly if it is important to you.
9. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, DotYello will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and CAD $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the Service or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after the change, you accept it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Courts located in Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where the law gives you a right to bring a claim in your home jurisdiction.
